Culture Club 101 is a Pasadena-based food co-op that specializes in almost forgotten foods and preparations inspired by Sally Fallon’s Nourishing Traditions. I like to go in for their homebrewed kombucha, their local eggs, delicious coconut truffles, delectable fromage blanc or their bliss bars (which are so very blissful). I’m lucky enough to have a couple friends who work at this location and like to share foods that they’ve prepared including fermented mangos, raspberries, and krauts a’plenty.

From their website:
We are committed to bringing back into awareness the food traditions of the past that were useful and beneficial to human health and vitality. We offer classes and hands-on workshops to assist people in gaining confidence, particularly in the art of lacto-fermented (cultured) foods. We present monthly lectures and films for education and inspiration. Internships and co-op memberships are also available for those with a passion about these principals.
