I had no idea it was so easy to make your own slime, customizable with your own cool colors – even glow in the dark!

DIY SLIME:

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup glue (a type like Elmer’s)

1 teaspoon Borax

1 cup water

Food coloring / Glow in the dark paint

Wooden stirring stick (a chopstick is what I used)

In a bottle mix the cup of water with the teaspoon of Borax.  In a bowl mix the 1/2 cup water with the 1/2 cup glue – add your color and/or glow in the dark paint to your liking.  Now slowly poor a bit of the water/borax solution in and stir with your stick.  Keep stirring and pouring a little bit at a time.  You should see the slime glob forming quickly.  Keep dribbling the borax/water out into the glue/water mixture until you are happy.  Roll into a ball and let the memories of putting 25 cents into the toy machine flood over you.

Note:  Do not get this on carpet, fabrics etc. it will stain and get all gushed into the fibers.
