Do you like view points? Do you like waterfalls and pools? Do you like lush greenery and beautiful scenery? If so, the hike up to inspiration point in Santa Barbara is for you (and me). The hike is fairly easy (with some moderately strenuous parts) with maximum satisfaction at the top when you look out onto the city of Santa Barbara, the glistening Pacific and the Channel Islands. Along the way you will come across the 7 falls and their pools – a perfect spot to have a snack and spend some time. Depending on the weather it would be perfect for a dip. Note the hike is about 6ish miles roundtrip so bring some water and wear some decent shoes.
To Trailhead: Head northwest on State Street. At 2.2 miles, turn right on San Roque Road. Continue 1.1 miles to the trailhead.

yes! maybe we can do this hike together and collect leaves. sounds naturally spectacular!
you two and your leaves.
I like the way you put that… naturally spectacular! Sounds like a plan – Gilda- will you be providing the books for us to press our leaves between?
Count me in. I’ll be waiting at a distance with a picnic and some special books.
What a beautiful spot – cannot wait to visit and be inspired!
Looking forward to hearing about your trip!
