I highly recommend taking a trip up to Santa Cruz to visit Natural Bridges State Park. The Park features 65 acres including a eucalyptus grove that is home to migrating Monarch butterflies. This is the perfect time to see thousands (up to 150,000) Monarch butterflies that have migrated around 2000 miles to escape the cold winters of the North Western United States and Canada. The butterflies nest within the leaves and at first glance you don’t really see them but something will stir them and thousands will glide across the sky. I had tears in my eyes the whole time.

Have I seen this photo before? I have heard that it is an incredible sight. However, you having tears in your eyes is not a good barometer as you tear up at the drop of a hat.
Yes you have seen this image before- I gave it to Granny and it is hanging by the mirror in the hallway. And yes, it is true about the tears in my eyes. I accept myself, I accept myself… tears for accepting myself. oh lord.
Another wonderful place to add to my list of places to see. I love California.
I love CA too x
